Born in Point Pleasant, she resided in Brick before settling in Jackson in 1988. She worked as a special education paraprofessional for Jackson Board of Education for many years and was very active at the Lucy N Holman Elementary School. She enjoyed going to the beach, especially LBI, traveling the country, was very social, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Surviving is her loving husband of 37 years, John J Mucia Sr; son, John J Mucia Jr and wife, Raechel; brother, Jon Coletta and wife Lawren; niece, Jonelle Coletta and husband, Anthony Balsamo; nephew, Jared Coletta and wife, Amanda; and great nieces & nephews, Emerson Parker, Quinn Parker, Grace Coletta and Emily Coletta. Visitation is Friday, March 6th at 4:00-8:00 PM.
