Sherry Lee Arias

Sherry Lee Arias, born on August 29, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on March 4, 2026, in her lifelong hometown after a courageous battle with cancer. A devoted wife, mother, and caregiver, Sherry lived a life defined by quiet strength, thoughtfulness, and boundless love for her family.

She was the beloved wife of Edmundo and the cherished mother of five sons: Brandon, Justin, Mundo, Jason, and Kian. Sherry was a loving sister to Cliff and Liza, a treasured best friend to Mary, and a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and one great-grandson. Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a mother to her remarkable family.

A graduate of Prescott Grammar School and Lakeview High School, Sherry dedicated 40 years of her life to her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her compassion and gentle care touched countless lives, reflecting the same warmth and selflessness she showed to everyone she knew. Guided by her Catholic faith, she faced life’s challenges with grace and found deep meaning in serving others.

Sherry took pleasure in baking cookies, creating arts and crafts, and transforming her home into a festive celebration for every holiday. She cherished quiet moments with coffee and conversation alongside those she loved. Her thoughtful, giving spirit and unwavering devotion to family remain her most enduring legacy.
