She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Clyde Winegar and Marion Winegar (Timby); her husband Larry Douglas Bateman; her children, Carrie Ann Bateman and Ryan Scott Bateman; and her brother Wendell Winegar.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ann Ricker (Randal), Brett Bateman (Sammie), Travis Micheal Bateman (Amanda), Brandon Tyler Bateman (Carly) and Debra Lynn Schwemmer (Joshua); her daughter-in-law Kellie Bateman; her sister-in-law Elaine Winegar; and her siblings, Bonnie Johnson (Tom), Charlene Talbot (Al) and Robert Winegar (Sharon). She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
