Sherri Beth Lang

Sherri Beth Lang, 58, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on March 6, 2026, after suffering a stroke. Born on May 27, 1967, in Emporia, Kansas, to Harold and Glenda Lang, she moved with her family to Kansas City just four months later. Sherri spent her career as a shipping clerk for Ceva Logistics, having previously worked as an accountant for Choice Solutions.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda (Campbell) Lang, her brother Mark, and her companion of more than 34 years, Matt Ewing. Sherri is survived by her father, B. Harold Lang; her sisters, DeAnna and Lori Lang of Kansas City, Kansas, and Robin Downey (Roger) of Spring Hill, Kansas; her brothers, Aaron Lang of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Stephen Lang of Kansas City, Kansas; three nephews, Cameron Lang of Parrish, Florida, Brennan Lang (Tamara) of Ladson, South Carolina, and Devin Lang (Dakota) of Williams, Georgia; three great-nephews and one great-niece; and her lifelong friend, Michele Baker.

A celebration of her life will be held at Stone Canyon in Gladstone, Missouri, on March 28, 2026. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to KU Cancer Center, Nekamo Camp, or Children’s Mercy Hospital.
