He is survived by: his wife Gloria Shelton Emler; his daughter Sherylnn Emler (Ryan Falls); and his siblings, Sharon Napier, Brenda Roop, Anthony Woody and Mark Woody (Beverly).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Stone Memorial Christian Church (3030 Virginia Ave, Collinsville, VA 24078). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
