Shelly Bratcher

Shelly Bratcher, age 47, of Anderson, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Rainey Hospice House.

Born on July 14, 1978, in Anderson, she was the daughter of Anita Hughes Bratcher and Thomas Olin Bratcher. Shelly graduated from Belton-Honea Path High School before earning a degree in Biological Science Pre-Med from Clemson University and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the Medical University of South Carolina. She worked as a pharmacist with Harris Teeter. In her younger years she found joy playing in the band during high school and at Clemson. She cherished beach vacations, time spent outdoors, and most of all, the company of her horses and dogs.

She is survived by her parents, Anita and Thomas Bratcher, and her beloved dog Goose. Shelly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gene and Bobbie Hughes and R.O. and Kate Bratcher.
