Shelia Jean "Fulton" Phelps

Shelia "Jean" Phelps, 78, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at home with her son by her side. Born on September 29, 1947, in Ohio County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Frances Lee Fulton. Jean enjoyed a long career at Citizens Bank before retiring. A devoted member of New Harmony Baptist Church, she taught Sunday School and served as treasurer for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-eight years, Dewey "Pete" Phelps, and her sister, Beverly Dean Shoopman.

Jean is survived by her son, Shawn (Ana Feliciano) Phelps, who will carry forward the love and memories she so generously shared throughout her life.
