Shelia Hales ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Saint Pauls Funeral Home on Mar. 9, 2026.Shelia Locklear Hales of Shannon was born to the late Quissie Locklear and Lizzie Bell Clark Locklear on Saturday, April 13, 1959 in Robeson County and was born into eternity on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Lowery Cape Fear Life Care in Whiteville, completing her journey of 68 years.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands: Earl Stone Locklear and Gerald Hales; two children: Lizzie Ann Locklear and Joshua Allen Locklear: six siblings: Rev. Marlin Clark, Eddie Locklear "Pee Wee" Lawrence Strickland Locklear "Tonto", Carolyn Brewer, Joyce Brooks and Quissie Jr. Locklear. Mrs. Locklear was a lover of life, she enjoyed sewing, gardening, cleaning and cooking.She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter Alecia Locklear (Preston), four Sons: Jimmy Earl Locklear, Jackie Dean Locklear (Nicole), Bobby Dean Locklear and Donald Ray Locklear(Erica); three brothers: Crawford Locklear (Angela) and Gene Locklear and Larry Locklear (Marilyn); six sisters: Sylvia Cummings and Evelyn Hicks, Sarah Ann Locklear, Mary Ann Locklear, Goldie Chavis, and Marnice Swoops, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren as well as host of most cherished and loved nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
