She was a proud graduate of Pendleton High School, Class of 1972. Sheila pursued her passion for beauty and became a licensed cosmetologist in 1985 after attending Anderson College of Beauty Culture. She later expanded her talents by becoming a phlebotomy technician and nurse aide, touching the lives of many through her compassion, care, and dedication.A woman of deep faith, Sheila joined New Holly Light Baptist Church. She devoted her life to God and her family. In 2005, she answered her calling into the ministry with the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God. Throughout the years, she faithfully served in many capacities within the church, including working with the Young People's Division and singing in the choir. Sheila found great joy in spending time with loved ones in Florida-attending church services, gospel concerts, community events, and sharing cherished moments with family.Sheila was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Joseph and Glennie Mae Hagood, and her dear niece, Kameko Hagood Johnson.She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter; Kesha Kennedy (Rev. John B. Kennedy, III); her granddaughters, Jada Kennedy, Kayla Kennedy, and Tyra Kennedy; her sisters, Vivian Henry (the late Ronald Henry), Jennifer Hill, and Frendessa Brosnahan (Robert Brosnahan); along with a devoted circle of niece, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.Her love, faith, and joyful spirit will be remembered and cherished forever.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
