Ericksen, 90 of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. Sheila was born on March 6, 1936, in Staten Island, New York, to Leroy and Margaret (Skinner) Endriss.Sheila's early years growing up in Staten Island were filled with joy and the formation of lifelong friendships. It was there that she met her beloved husband, Alf Ericksen. They were united in marriage on March 8, 1959, and together they embarked on a journey of love. Sheila and Alf remained in Staten Island to raise their family.Before her retirement, Sheila served as a secretary for AT&T in Staten Island, where her professionalism and warmth left a lasting impression on her colleagues. Upon retirement, Sheila and Alf sought the sunny skies of Florida, where they enjoyed many happy years together. Eventually, they returned to New Jersey, bringing them closer to their cherished family.Sheila's community involvement was a reflection of her caring spirit. She was an active member of both the Hazlet Senior Center and the Union Beach Senior Center in New Jersey, where she made many treasured friendships.Sheila's life was marked by the love she shared with her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alf Ericksen. Sheila is survived by her loving son, Allen Ericksen of Union Beach, her dear brother Frank Wolf and his wife Frankie, her sister-in-law Jeri, her cherished grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney, Brittany, Brandon, and Rylee, and her treasured great granddaughter, Hailey. The memories Sheila and her family created together will be cherished forever.Though Sheila will be deeply missed, the love she shared will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who loved her.Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
