She was predeceased by: her parents, William Courtney Perkins and Sharon Perkins (Blood); her husband Takahiko Ben Sugihara; and her sister Kelly Perkins. She is survived by: her children, Shawn Perkins (Janice), Benny Sugihara (Karlee) and Yukiko Sugihara; her grandchildren, Jessica Kaleta (Richard) and Calvin Sugihara; her great grandchildren, Kora and Willow Kaleta; and her brother Cory Perkins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lindquist's Layton Mortuary (1867 N Fairfield Rd, Layton, UT 84041).
