Shawn Michael Primeau

Shawn Michael Primeau, who embodied a unique blend of humor, hard work, and solitary introspection, passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 48. He was born on August 29, 1977, in St. Charles, Missouri.

Throughout his life, Shawn was known for his quick wit and engaging personality, traits that made him a cherished figure among those who knew him. Shawn enjoyed moments spent relaxing, binge-watching shows, or enjoying meals at his favorite restaurants. His culinary skills shone particularly when he took to the barbecue, where his talents as a cook were evident.

Shawn spent his final days in St. Louis, Missouri. He is survived by his daughters, Shawnna Primeau and Kennedy Primeau; his father, Donald Primeau; his sister, Melissa Primeau; his stepfather, Mark Neeley; and his closest friend, Sequoyah Primeau.

He was predeceased by his mother, Pauline Neeley, and his grandparents, Rose and Don Jackson, and Lucille and Gilbert Primeau. Shawn's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him.
