Shawn Michael Hagan

Shawn Michael Hagan was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on March 4, 1962, the son of Wayne E. Hagan and Margaret Louise Koch Hagan. He passed away at his home in Caruthersville, Missouri, on March 7, 2026, at the age of 64.

On August 18, 1992, in Caruthersville, he married Alice Bowman, and together they shared 33 years of marriage. Shawn had a playful spirit and loved having fun. He enjoyed lively water gun fights, playing poker and spades, and watching television, particularly his favorite Law & Order shows. He also took great pleasure in a good meal, often savoring a steak with a baked potato followed by a slice of chocolate cake.

Above all, Shawn cherished his family. He is survived by his wife, Alice Hagan; his mother, Margaret Hagan; his sons, Michael Wayne Hagan and Shawn Aaron Hagan; his stepdaughter, Joezette Ayers; his stepson, Herschel Ayers III; his sister, Kathleen Milam Hagan; his brother, Mark David Hagan; his grandchildren, Gage Aaron Hagan and Judith Delilah Hagan; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne E. Hagan.
