He was born on November 24, 1966, in Wabash, Indiana, to Robert and Jean (Boardman) Hoover.Shawn was a 1985 graduate of Wabash High School and a 1989 graduate of Ball State University. He was a salesman in the Pharmaceutical and Orthopedic industries. Shawn was an avid sports enthusiast, and enjoyed golfing, football, and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.He is survived by his mother, Jean Hoover, two children, Haley (Drew) Morken and Hayden (Valerie Hall) Hoover, grandson, Mason Hoover, brother, Shane Hoover, and former spouse, Nan West, all of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Hoover.There will be a private family service.
