Sharon Volrath Fincannon

Sharon Volrath Fincannon, age 67, of Angier, NC died March 11, 2026 in UNC Health Johnston, Clayton, NC. She was born in Greenville, SC on June 17, 1958 to the late Margaret Henderson and raised by her adoptive parents, Howard and Myrtle Volrath.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Fincannon; her sons, Joshua Fincannon and Daniel Fincannon; her sister, Juana Sinard (Nathan); her brother, Stephen Volrath; and her brother-in-law, Mike Gillispie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Gillispie and Carol Inch.

Her visitation will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm in the Firstborn Baptist Church, 10781 NC-50 Benson, NC.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 2:00pm in the Firstborn Baptist Church with burial to follow in Sandy Grove Cemetery.
