She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arvin Stene and Erna Stene (Loechelt); her sons, Howard Arvin "Arvy" Myers (Kimberley) of Alexandria, VA and Andrew Carter Myers (Jenny) of Crystal Lake; her grandchildren, Lillian Helen and Oakly Carter Myers of Crystal Lake; her brother Dennis Carter Stene (Carol) of Elgin; and her husband Howard Wm.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (932 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
