Sharon Lynne Blagdon

Sharon Lynne Blagdon (née Newton) was born in Toronto, Ontario on April 29, 1960 and passed away in Toronto on March 12, 2026 after a brief illness. She was the middle of three children born to Jack (John) and Lillian Newton (née Longhurst) and remained very close throughout her life with her surviving brothers, John and James Newton (Cathy). The three siblings shared a strong and enduring bond.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, step-mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, and friend. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Robert Blagdon, whom she affectionately called Bobby, in 2023. She is survived by her daughters Melinda (Dave) and Sarah (Kyle), her step-sons Ronnie and Jason (Nahid), and her five cherished grandchildren Owen, Bianca, Hudson, Jackson, and Lucas. A lifelong animal lover, she will also be greatly missed by her beloved pets Rosie, Coco, Chloe, and Sunshine.

Sharon’s family will forever cherish the moments of joy, laughter, and love they shared with her. Her kindness, compassion, and caring spirit touched everyone around her and will continue to live on in all whose lives she touched. She is at peace.
