Sharon Kensicki ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. - Sterling Heights on Mar. 17, 2026.Sharon Lee Kensicki (nee Hoffman), age 74, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026. She was born on December 12, 1951, and grew up in Harper Woods, Michigan. Sharon later raised her children in Warren before eventually settling in Clinton Township. Sharon devoted her life to her family as a loving stay-at-home mother. She was deeply involved in her children's school activities and was an active member of St. Clement Church in Center Line. Known for her kind heart and generous spirit, Sharon had a contagious laugh and a wonderfully silly personality that brought joy to everyone around her. She loved traveling, especially to Traverse City and Orlando, and always looked forward to her next trip. Sharon enjoyed cooking, shopping, and spending time with the people she loved most. She was also a wonderful baker and was especially famous for her chocolate chip cookies, which were a favorite among family and friends. More than anything, Sharon lived for her grandchildren. She cherished attending their games, talent shows, and dance recitals and loved having them over for sleepovers and spending as much time with them as possible. Her strength, resilience, courage, and grace shaped the lives of all who knew and loved her. Sharon is survived by her beloved children: Kristen Gutierrez (Shawn), Lauren Finn (Adam), and Brian Kensicki (Koiya). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Isabella, Bryce, Raphael, Millie, Ellie, and Brady. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Gail, with whom she shared cherished evening phone calls and weekly visits. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Aloysius Eugene Hoffman and Mildred Hoffman. Sharon will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and deep love for her family. She always looked forward to the next family gathering, and her presence will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of those who loved her.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
