Sharon Langley Lanthier was born on January 17, 1950, and passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 76. A longtime member of the Carmelites in the Catholic Church, Sharon found joy in quilting, ceramics, and traveling. She loved browsing thrift stores and flea markets in search of unique antiques, yet nothing brought her greater happiness than her family.
She was a devoted mother to her children and took great pride in co-owning the ceramic shop The Family Slip Pit with her husband. Sharon’s life centered on love and family, and she cherished every moment spent with those closest to her.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Carriere; sons, Jason Lanthier and wife Katie, Cory Lanthier and wife Connie, and Daniel Lanthier; siblings, Charles Langley and wife Crystal, and Windola Cowart, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Dennis Lanthier; her parents, Wilfred Langley and Mary Shirley Delahoussaye Langley; and her siblings, Roland Langley, Carl Langley, Rose McKissack, and Helena Blanchette.
