Lebanon, Pennsylvania and Palm Coast, Florida, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Summit, New Jersey on December 6, 1942, a daughter of Harry and Lida (Plant) Lore.Growing up in a blue-collar community, Sharon learned the value of an honest, hard day's work and ultimately the skills that would help her raise two sons with the discipline that was necessary but with the love that was never in question. After high school she attended Winthrop College in Rock Hill, South Carolina and eventually met, fell in love with and married Robert (Bob) Slagle. They traveled the world with Bob's career and celebrated 51 years of marriage before Bob's passing in 2016. Sharon spent the next ten years fiercely devoted to her family and her grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her loving daughter in law, Angela Slagle. Surviving Sharon are her two sons, Christopher Slagle and Scott Slagle and wife Kelly; a daughter-in-law, Jennifer Slagle; and four grandchildren, Zachary, Sarah, Sabrina and Victoria who loved their Gram with a bond that was unbreakable.A celebration of Sharon's life will be held for family and close friends in Palm Coast, Florida, at a date to be determined.
