Sharon L. Slagle

Sharon L. Slagle, 83, of Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania and Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on March 7, 2026, at Mercy Hospital. Born on December 6, 1942, in Summit, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Harry and Lida (Plant) Lore.

Raised in a blue-collar community, Sharon developed a deep appreciation for honest work and the strength it builds. After high school, she attended Winthrop College in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where she later met and married Robert (Bob) Slagle. Together they traveled the world during Bob’s career, sharing 51 years of marriage until his passing in 2016. In the decade that followed, Sharon remained fiercely devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, and her loving daughter-in-law Angela Slagle. Sharon is survived by her sons, Christopher Slagle and Scott Slagle and his wife Kelly; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Slagle; and her four cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Sarah, Sabrina, and Victoria, who shared an unbreakable bond with their Gram.
