Sharon Kay Rushing

Sharon Kay Rushing, age 80, of Augusta, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on April 29, 1945, to Buddy and Edna Fronabarger, Sharon lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and deep devotion to her family and faith. She found great joy in the outdoors, tending her garden, working in the soil, and watching the birds she loved so much, especially the hummingbirds. Whether caring for her plants or for those around her, she brought warmth and compassion to everyone she met. Her gentle spirit and giving heart left a lasting impression on many lives.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Rushing; her daughter, Angie Hardcastle and her fiancé Brian Gast; and her cherished grandchildren, Porter, Elliott, and Payton. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in the love they shared. Sharon will be remembered for her loving heart, her steadfast faith, and the many lives she touched through her kindness and generosity.
