Cook, nee Beasley, 78, of Belleville, Illinois, born November 7, 1947 in Dorena, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.Sharon was retired as a self employed house cleaner. She loved dancing with her amazing husband, Mike Cook. Her first love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren - that always made her day. Sharon loved to garden and was an amazing cook.She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Cook; her parents, Woodrow and Maxine, nee Brantley, Beasley; and two brothers, Michael and Mark Beasley.Surviving are her children, Michael (Tina) Vincent of Belleville, IL, Tara (Terry) Maurer of Belleville, IL, Scott (Kim) Cook of Waianae, HI, and Sean (Elizabeth) Cook of Granite City, IL; a brother, Jim (Paula) Beasley of Waterloo, IL; a sister, Vanessa Shaw of Waterloo, IL; 15 grandchildren, James (Molly) Maurer, Michael (Mia) Vincent, Michaela (Austin) Vincent, Brandon (Hannah) Peterson, Alyssa Reinhardt, Airyn (Jake) Harper, Addison, Liam, Jaxon, Keagan, Taylor (Nathan) Miller, Caitlin, Cody, Jace, and Issac; and several great grandchildren and one on the way, "Peanut". She was also a dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend.In following Sharon's wishes, a private cremation was held. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois.
