Sharon Joyce Gallagher

Sharon Joyce Gallagher, born Sharon Joyce Bailey on December 11, 1955, passed away on March 10, 2026, at SSM Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri. A lifelong resident of Collinsville, Illinois, she attended school there and carried a free-spirited nature throughout her life. Sharon held a special fondness for motorcycles and unicorns, and she cherished every moment spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, David (Shannon) Robinson and Sherrie (Luther) Burns; grandchildren Vanessa Totty, Lizzy Scroggins, Anthony Robinson, Renee Burns, Katie Robinson, Dakota Elam, Shanna (Cody) Humphreys, Derrick Robinson, and Charlie Robinson; great-grandchildren Rylee Hart, Sebastian Humphreys, Bailey Humphreys, Stevie Simmons, and Sarah Scroggins-Sims; and siblings Claude Swift, Judith Childs, and Raymond Elmore, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Bailey and Rose Bailey (Meves); her husbands, Jerry Montgomery and Jack Gilliam; her son, Derrick Robinson; and her siblings, Ricky Bailey, Helen Hollen, Linda (Mike) Edmiston, and Judith Swift.
