Sharon Hildebrandt ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Skinner Funeral Home - Eaton Rapids on Mar. 16, 2026.Sharon Lee HildebrandtOf Eaton Rapids, Michigan, and formerly of Flint, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 73.Sharon was born on March 9, 1953, in Spokane, Washington, the only child of Robert and Eileen (Hughes) Packscher. Raised in a military family, she moved frequently during her childhood before her family eventually settled in Ohio. She graduated from Parma High School and later attended Lansing Computer Institute.Sharon began her career with the State of Michigan in 1991, working for the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), where she remained until her retirement in 2020. She was a devoted wife who dedicated much of her time outside of work to caring for her husband and maintaining their home.In her free time, Sharon enjoyed listening to music from the 1950s and 1960s and loved to dance. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, and watching the Food Network. Sharon owned property in Alpena, Michigan, and cherished her trips to northern Michigan, where she enjoyed visiting family and taking in the natural beauty of the area.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David Hildebrandt.Sharon is survived by her sons, Albert (Loni) Ruddick and Robert Ruddick; grandchildren, Zachary (Rebecca) Ruddick, Hailey Ruddick, Elly (Daven Corona) Ruddick, Maddy (Adam) LeGalley, Mary Allaire, Alexandria Ruddick, Devon Ruddick, Anthony Ruddick, Leah Ruddick, and Rylin Ruddick; great-grandchildren, Arden Corona, Chandler, and Kora; and a special friend, Eliza Slee.A private memorial service will be held at a later date.To share memories or leave online condolences, please visit www.SkinnerFuneralHomes.comTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
