Sharon Charmaine Triggs

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Charmaine Triggs (Newton, Kansas), who passed away on March 1, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edythe Evelyn (Kimmel) and Elmer Lester Gould; and her husband Charle Triggs. She is survived by: her sisters, Patricia "Patty" Ann Kerwood (Gary) and Pamela "Pam" Kay Gould (Everett Bennett); her children, Nicole Triggs of Houston, Texas and Trey Triggs; her grandsons, Justin and Perry (Téa) of Wichita, Kansas; her daughter Molly Sharrock (Randy); and her granddaughters, Arwen and Alexis of Katy, Texas.. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Petersen Family Funeral Home (215 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (801 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114).

Memorials are suggested to the Alpha Delta Lambda Future Educator Scholarship Fund, or the First United Methodist Scholarship Committee, and may be left in the care of Petersen Family Funeral Home.
