Sharon Ann Buratowski

Sharon Ann Buratowski, 68, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2026 after a brief and sudden battle with cancer.

Preceded in death by her father, August “Gus” Zajac, Sharon is survived by her mother, Dolores Zajac; her husband, Edward Buratowski; her son, Greg Buratowski (Mia Buratowski); her daughter, Sara Buratowski Ivie (Cameron Ivie); her granddaughters, Ava Kate Buratowski, Ansley Buratowski, and Blakely Ivie; and her siblings, Becky Sooter and Chris Zajac (Amber Zajac). She was also surrounded by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.

For nearly five decades, Sharon worked as an occupational therapist, retiring from UAMS Kid’s First in 2025. She devoted her career to helping others regain their independence, dignity, and hope, and was always the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need.

Above all, Sharon was a woman of deep Christian faith and a devoted member of St. Anne Catholic Church in North Little Rock. She expressed her love of Christ each day through prayer, service to others, and quiet acts of kindness. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and family deeply, and she will be remembered for her kindness, gentleness, positive spirit, and commitment to her Catholic faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
