Shari Nell Cicalo

Shari Nell Cicalo, age 65, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away on March 9, 2026. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on February 7, 1961 to Linda Lou Gilkey and Melvin Charles Dendy.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Linda Lou and Jerry Gilkey; her sister, Kimberly Diane Gatlin; and her father, Melvin Charles Dendy. Shari is survived by her husband, Joseph Cicalo; cousins, Deborah Reed and Lisa Pierce; brothers, Marvin “Chris” Kemp, Jr., Douglas Kemp, and Eddie (Heather) Kemp; sister, LeAnne Ramsey Nee Dendy; sister-in-law, Victoria Cicalo; and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved and cherished.

Shari was a devoted wife, beloved sister, sister-in-law, cousin, cherished aunt, and steadfast friend to many. Her kindness, intelligence, and steady presence touched everyone who knew her. A faithful Christian, she lived with quiet strength and deep generosity. Professionally, she worked as a medical billing manager, where her thoughtfulness, organization, and care earned her the affectionate title “Ms. Shari.” Her coworkers became family, and she often expressed her love through homemade baked goods and carefully prepared meals.

Outside of work, Shari found joy in cooking and baking, sharing her talents freely with those around her. Though she and Joseph had no children of their own, her life was filled with rich friendships, laughter, and meaningful connections. She was a wonderful aunt who gave her love openly and wholeheartedly. Shari will be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the nurturing spirit she brought into every relationship. Her legacy endures in the many lives she touched and the love she so generously shared.
