Shannon Rae Chesson-Kindl

Shannon Rae Chesson-Kindl passed away on August 28, 2025. She will be remembered for her wholehearted love, kindness, generosity, and quiet devotion to others. Known throughout Wildwood as someone who could always be counted on, Shannon gave freely of her time and care. Whether rescuing animals, offering a helping hand, or simply sitting with someone who needed company, she made time for everyone and touched countless lives with her warmth and patience.

Shannon is survived by her husband, Gary Kindl; her son, David M. Evans; her daughter, Shellbe Stafford (Justin); her father, James Evans; her sister, Angela Kruse; her brother, David J. Evans (Angela); and her grandson, Wylde Stafford. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sherry Evans.

Her legacy of compassion and unwavering kindness will live on through her family and all those she cared for throughout her life. In keeping with her deep love for animals, donations may be made to the Sumter County Humane Society in her memory.
