Her career at both Paramount Health and Camp Lejeune, was marked by her unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those she served.Shannon was a member of the Catholic Church. Her academic pursuits led her to earn a master's degree from Case Western Reserve University, an achievement that fueled her passion for helping others.Shannon spent much of her life in Cleveland Heights and Toledo, Ohio, before relocating to Jacksonville, North Carolina, where she continued her impactful work. Outside of her professional life, Shannon was a lover of animals, particularly horses. She cherished her pony, Irish, and her horse, Red; she found great joy in their companionship. Her dogs, BoBo, Tiny and Sunny held a special place in her heart; they surrounded her with their wagging tails and wet noses.Her journey through life was marked by her keen intelligence, incredible loyalty, sense of humor, and the ability to light up any room she entered. Shannon's warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.She is survived by her life partner, Cheryl Morrow Bradley; her sister, Ellen Celmer and her husband, Mark of Twinsburg, Ohio; her brother, Brian O'Haire and his wife, Kathy of Aurora, Ohio; and by her nieces, cousins and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles O'Haire and Elizabeth (Sainsbury) O'Haire; brother, Brendan O'Haire; and her sister, Susan Nagle.A celebration of Shannon's life will be held at a later date; details will be announced by her family.
