Shannon Lee Poteet

Shannon Lee Poteet, 68, of Imboden, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at his home.

Born on July 23, 1957, in Selma, Alabama, to the late Everett Poteet and Christine High Franks, Shannon served his country in the United States Army. A talented musician and lifelong member of the Church of Christ, he found great joy in hunting, fishing, and pursuing his passion as an avid car enthusiast. Those who knew him will remember his quiet strength, his love for the outdoors, and the steady presence he brought to his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Everett Poteet and Christine Franks; his brother, Albert Poteet; his grandparents, Onie and Audrey Poteet; and his niece, Brandy Green.

Shannon is survived by his brothers, Thomas Poteet of Ravenden, Carl Poteet of Imboden, and Wendell Poteet of Ravenden; his sister, Dorothy (Blake) Jones of Black Rock; and his nieces and nephews, Jordan (Holly) Poteet of Ravenden, Jessie (Savanah) Poteet of Searcy, Aaron (Kora) Richie of Walnut Ridge, Ryan Green of Black Rock, and Amber Seamans of Pocahontas, along with many other relatives and friends who will carry his memory with love and gratitude.
