Shane Charles Shepler

Shane Charles Shepler, age 48, of Toledo, passed away at home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Born on March 18, 1977, in Toledo, Ohio, to Charles and Lois (Shaver) Braden, he graduated from Libbey High School and worked various jobs, including concrete work for Tri State Concrete. Shane had a creative spirit and found joy in drawing and writing. Known as a jokester with a big heart, he held deep love for God and his family.

He is survived by his mother, Lois Schmidt; his siblings, Shannon, Brad (Nicki), Michelle, Shaun, and Jenna; his children, Marques (Christy) Torres, Austin Partin, Monica Torres, Alicia (Corey) Bedegarea, Angelo Shepler, Breonnah Amstutz-Shepler, Kane Connors, and Kailyn Connors; and many grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles, and his grandparents, Garland and Ruth Shaver.

Shane will be dearly missed by his family and many friends who cherished his humor, kindness, and loving presence.
