Shane Austin Gibson

Shane Austin Gibson, age 32, of Knoxville, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2026. A devoted husband and father, Shane cherished every moment spent with his family. He loved playing video games with his children, cheering for Tennessee Football and the Washington Redskins, and creating joyful memories at the park with his girls. His playful spirit shone through in silly antics and lively dance parties in the living room. Above all, Shane held a deep love for good food, his family, and his girls, who were the center of his world. He worked at Machined Products in Karns.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Gibson; father-in-law, James Brooks; grandparents, James and Shirley Gibson, and Samuel Pressley; special cousin, Allen Ward; and brother-in-law, A.J. Brooks.

Shane is survived by his wife, Robin Brooks-Gibson, with whom he had been together since the age of 15; daughters, Adalynn and Graylee Gibson; nieces he raised as his own, Aliyana and Gabriella Clayton; mother, Elizabeth Abouelella; sister, Kayla Gibson (Justin); brothers, Cordel and Chaz Hodge; aunt and uncle, Crystal and Mark Hodge; best friend, Alex Baird; and many nieces and nephews.
