She was born on November 11, 1978, to her parents, Paul and Hilda (King) Gains, in Hickory, North Carolina.Shana was a loving wife and mother, and enjoyed driving around, garage selling.She married Jonathan "Patrick" Swartz on October 28, 1999, in Lincolnton, North Carolina.Shana is survived by her husband, Patrick, of Manhattan; her son, Joshua Tyler Swartz, of Manhattan; a sister, Dana Berry, of Maiden, North Carolina, and her stepfather.She was preceded in death by both of her parents, Paul and Hilda.Funeral services are pending at this time with Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville, North Carolina.Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502, is assisting the family with arrangements.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
