If there was a UNC game on, a NASCAR race running (especially if Earnhardt was involved), or a chance to wet a fishing line, he was set. Add a motorcycle ride and a cold drink, and he didn't need much else.Growing up, Kevin was usually right behind his older twin brothers, determined to tag along wherever they went. As the baby of the family, he had a special bond with his mama and was a proud mama's boy through and through.Later in life, he worked for his brother at Dunlap Construction for many years, earning a reputation as a skilled carpenter and the best cut man on the crew before moving on to LKQ.He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dunlap; his mother, Patricia Cole Dunlap Bellomy; and his stepfather, William "Wild Bill" Bellomy.Kevin is survived by his brothers, Ronnie Dunlap and wife Susan, and Donnie Dunlap and his dog, Max; his nephew DJ and wife Kimberly; his niece Brynn and her dog, Rizzy Jack; and many friends who stood by him and shared in the moments and memories of his life.Kevin kept life simple-he liked what he liked, said what he meant, and enjoyed the things that made him happy. We like to think he's up there with his mama, drinking a cold one with Earnhardt himself. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of --Service Scheduled--Kevin "K-Dog" Scott Dunlap, please visit our floral store. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
