Seretha L. (Smith) Scroggins

Seretha L. Scroggins of Albany, Kentucky passed away on March 7, 2026, at her residence in Clinton County at the age of 62. Born on July 22, 1963, in Clinton County, she was the daughter of Ruben and Ostie (Kennedy) Smith.

Seretha was preceded in death by her daughter, Amanda Scroggins, and her siblings, Rubin “Ricky” Smith, Dee Smith, Lonzo Smith, Lloyd “Hack” Smith, Camel Duvall, Ora Lee Starns, and Elgie Barnes.

She is survived by her special friend of 43 years, Raymond Brown; her children, David and Dawn Scroggins, and Amy and Steve Booher; her siblings, Georgia Reynolds and Tony Smith; her grandchildren, Joshua Osborne and Jennifer Welch, and Bradley Scroggins; and her great-grandchild, Alyssa Welch, all of Albany, Kentucky.
