Selena Ariel Marie Oxendine

Selena Ariel Marie Oxendine passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the age of 13. She was born on March 5, 2012, in Laurinburg to April Oxendine and Sean Anthony Romaine.

A seventh-grade student at McColl Elementary/Middle School, Selena attended Faith Fellowship. She found joy in riding four-wheelers, drawing, dancing, and being around animals. She cherished playing with her friends and cousins and loved her iPad, headphones, and cell phone. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her Nana and Papa and took special delight in teasing her sister.

She was preceded in death by her aunt Linda Chavis, uncle Donald Butler, cousin Keylen Chase Oxendine, and stepfather John Grant.

Selena is survived by her loving parents, April Oxendine and Sean Anthony Romaine; her sister, Jadin Morton; her grandparents, Floyd and Joyce Oxendine; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members who will forever cherish her memory.
