Pai, 54, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.Born on December 6th, 1971, in Mysore, India, Seema was the beloved daughter of mother Sharada Kamath and late father Venkatesh Kamath. She was a devoted wife to her husband of 33 years, Gurudath G Pai. Above all, Seema was a loving mother to her son Ashwin Pai.She graduated from Maharanis College and went on to become Director of Software Engineering at Dell Technologies Inc after 25 of Industry Experience. She was a talented engineer and a respected tech mentor at Dell, solving and guiding others through complex problems with patience and encouragement. She believed deeply in lifting others up, especially in spaces where mentorship could change the trajectory of someone's career. Her impact will live on in the many people she coached, supported, and championed.Seema was always smiling, the kind of that made you feel instantly at ease. It was not just an expression; it was her spirit. She carried a natural warmth that attracted people and an infectious and giggling laugh that could brighten the heaviest days. When Seema was around, there was lightness, joy, and a prevailing sense that everything would be okay.Seema was also endlessly interested in the lives of those around her. Always asking about people's stories, dreams, travels, and passions. Every detail was discussed and never forgotten. With Seema, everyone's story was always seen and valued.Shortly after surviving Ovarian Cancer, Seema was diagnosed with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). She fought bravely for 8 years, never allowing it to affect her positive attitude. She modeled courage by embracing the challenge and pushing forward anyway. Her determination will continue to inspire everyone around her. This loss is felt far beyond her immediate family. It echoes through her workplace, her neighborhood, and all the lives she touched with her kindness, courage, and laughter. Seema leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, service, and a community forever changed. In lieu of flowers, donations will be collected with all proceeds going to Compassionate Care ALS Organization.
