Scott Myers

Scott Myers, 57, of East Peoria, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2026, surrounded by all of his loved ones.

Scott was born on July 11, 1969, to the late Earl Myers and Mary Myers (Kincade).

He is survived by his siblings, Chris Myers and Tanya; his life partner, Tammy Lowe of East Peoria; his children, Amber Williams (Brandon), Jessica Frietsch (Robert), and Carrie Myers (Wesley); his beloved grandchildren, Lexi, Payton, Reilly, Molly, Deagan, Gracie, Hannah, Paisley, Knox, Bella, Addy, and Klayton; and his great-grandchild, Malorie.

Scott graduated from East Peoria High School and earned a degree in small engines and mechanics, dedicating much of his life to fixing and building engines. His greatest joy was being around his family-watching his kids and grandchildren play sports, celebrating birthdays, and enjoying holidays together.

You could always find Scott in the garage, working on someone's car. He could fix anything. Some of his proudest accomplishments were restoring hot rods to their original glory and building motors so loud they would shake the building when he arrived. His garage was more than a workshop-it was a place where Scott shared his skills, passion, and love with anyone who stopped by.

Scott never knew a stranger and could strike up a conversation with anyone, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington has been entrusted with arrangements.
