Scott Dunn

April 10, 1966 March 7, 2026

Tucker, GA

Scott Dunn, 59, passed away on March 7, 2026. He was born on April 10, 1966, in Roanoke, Virginia, to Hugh and Karen Dunn.

Scott proudly served in the United States Army from 1990 to 1996 with the 440th Signal Corps. During his service, he and his family were stationed in Darmstadt, Germany, and he was later deployed to Bosnia in support of the Dayton Peace Agreement.

After his military service, Scott and his family settled in Tucker, Georgia. He built a career in cybersecurity, working for AvData and Secureworks. In 2019, he began a new chapter in real estate, joining Team Dunn Sold alongside his wife, Cindy, his daughter Maggie, and his son-in-law Zach Hale. Scott also dedicated many years to coaching Little League Baseball from 1998 to 2004, helping young players grow both on and off the field.

Scott was known for his sense of humor, his understanding nature, and his unwavering willingness to show up for others. He loved a good handshake, a good laugh, a two-armed hug, and he never missed a chance to make someone feel welcome.

Scott is survived by his wife, Cindy Dunn; his children, Erin and Jonathan Kirn, Ansley and Kristyn Dunn, Maggie and Zach Hale, and Tyler and Shelby Dunn; his grandchildren, Samantha Kirn; James and Savannah Hale; and Kashton, Huxley, and Kollyns Dunn; his parents, Hugh and Karen Dunn; and his sister, Kim and Steve Hoovestol, and their daughter, Katie.

His memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons he passed on, and the many lives he touched, because a life well lived continues to echo in the hearts of those who loved him. Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-430-1449. Sentiments are encouraged at www.baldwincremation.com.
