Scott Anthony Gutierrez, 63, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on March 8, 2026, after a courageous battle with melanoma. Born on October 6, 1962, in Denver, Colorado, he was the beloved son of Joe and Jackie Gutierrez.

Scott is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Monica, with whom he shared a deep and enduring partnership. Together they raised their children, Josh and Marchand, and their beloved dog Roxy. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Jacob, Nathan, and Hannah, who brought him great joy. He now rejoins family members who preceded him in death.

Scott and Monica met at a Halloween party that would begin a lifetime together. Their journey led them from California to Colorado and finally to their home in Florida. A graduate of high school in Wyoming, where he excelled in track and cross country, Scott went on to earn his CDL and build his own successful trucking company. He formed many lasting friendships through his work, known for his reliability and dedication.

An avid tennis player, Scott cherished long matches with his son Josh and friends on the court. A lifelong Denver Broncos fan, he also loved spending summer days at water parks with his grandchildren. Those who knew him will remember his warm smile, quick wit, generous spirit, and his talent for quoting movie lines in any situation. His kindness and love for life touched everyone around him, leaving a legacy that will continue to inspire his family and friends.
