Brewton Hunter, 73, of Springfield, Georgia, who entered eternal rest on Sunday March 15, 2026 at Memorial University, Savannah. She was born on January 14, 1953, in Savannah, Georgia, to the late Mr. Willie Brewton and the late Mrs. Hannah Brewton. A native of Effingham County, Mrs. Hunter was known and loved by many throughout her community.She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories with family, friends, and all who knew her.A walk-through viewing will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Smalls Funeral Home, Inc. The Homegoing Celebration will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, 167 Blandford Road, Rincon, Georgia 31326.
