Sarah Sheila Cooke

Sarah Sheila “Sally” Cooke, of St. James, New York, formerly of Smithtown and originally from Oyster Bay, New York, was born on July 20, 1935, and passed away on March 8, 2026.

Sally is survived by her three children, Caren Henderson (Daniel) of Newburgh, New York, Brian Cooke of St. James, New York, and Craig Cooke (Wendy) of Pensacola, Florida. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, dozens of cousins, and many devoted friends who were an important part of her life.

A celebration of her life is planned for the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to Lucky Star Cavalier Rescue in memory of Sarah Cooke.
