As Sarah Moore departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sarah Moore may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sarah Moore leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sallie Pearson Moore and Lyman Lyndon Moore of Liberty; and her husband Eugene Shoffner. She is survived by: her sons, Blair Shoffner (Carrinne) of Julian and David Shoffner (Kate) of Apex; her sister Helen Teter of Liberty; and her grandchildren, Lane Shoffner, Logan Shoffner (Kylie) and Julia Shoffner.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home (212 W Swannanoa Ave, Liberty, NC 27298). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Uncg's Marcus T. Johnson Alumni House (404 College Ave, Greensboro, NC 27412).
