Sarah Grace Mewborn

Sarah Grace Mewborn, 94 of Marietta, Ga. passed away March 5th, 2026. She was born on November 15, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Omar Lee Jorman and Gaynelle Whitmire Jorman. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Bill Rorie and Pastor Josh Bush officiating. Burial will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs, Georgia.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Mewborn, brother Chuck Jorman, sister Shirley Shirley, sister-in-law, Martha Jorman and brother-in-law, Bob Shirley.

She was a member of LaBelle Heights Baptist Church but had attended First Baptist Church of Powder Springs for over 30 years. Grace enjoyed family trips to the beach, bus tours with the Ginger's Gypsies, touring the Amish country, adult coloring projects and watching Gunsmoke. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family and oh how she loved them! She will always be remembered for her love of the Lord, her unselfishness, and caring for others. She will be missed.She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Roberts, son, Rick Mewborn (Cheryl), and daughter Denise Beynon (Bobby). Grandchildren are Brandon, Kyle (Lauren), Kelsey, Ricky, Ashley (Lee) and Ansley (Allen). Great grandchildren are Grayson, Blakelee, Whitley, Brianna, Holley, Grace , Case and Austin, and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers are accepted or donations can be made to the Calvary Children's Home in Powder Springs, Ga., Tunnels to Towers, or West Georgia Autism.

The family would like to thank Doctor Albert Edwards, Patsy Edwards and Regency SouthernCare Hospice Group for the wonderful care shown to our mother.
