Sarah Fowler

Sarah Fowler, age 77, of Ideal, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026.

Born on October 11, 1948, Sarah was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Buchanan Sr. and Sarah Lucille Countryman Buchanan. A longtime member of Little Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Ideal, she found quiet joy in reading, shopping, and most of all, in the company of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her siblings, Ann Grovenstein, Edna Turner, Robert Buchanan Jr. (Bertha), and Patricia Phipps; her sister-in-law, Latan Buchanan; her three children, Johnny Warren Bartlett Jr., Dusty Raybon (Jamey), and Adam Bartlett (Sherry); eight grandchildren, Jessica Bartlett (Stephen), Kassidy Bartlett (John), Ashlyn Bartlett, Jonathan Jones, Dylan Jones, Shelbi Roberts (Nick), Kipp Aldridge, and Hayden Bartlett (Audrey); and seven great-grandchildren, Cayden Strader, Eli Jones, Lilly Jones, Kinsley Jones, Winnie Jones, Waylon Jones, and Dalton Roberts, along with many nieces and nephews.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Fred Fowler; her parents, Robert and Lucille Buchanan; her brother, Davis Buchanan; and her brother-in-law, Lewis Grovenstein.
