Sarah Ann Austin Clinton

Sarah Ann Austin Clinton, 77, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026.

A native of Rock Hill, she was the daughter of the late James Monroe Austin and Bessie Jeannette Hedgepath Austin. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Sarah owned Clinton’s Daycare in Rock Hill for many years. She was a former member of the VFW, the American Legion Post 34, and the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. She found joy in crocheting and knitting, loved dancing, and cherished trips to the mountains and the beach.

She is survived by her four children, Stefanie Clinton (Christopher Tant), Michelle Garner, Gene Clinton, and Denise Taylor; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Clinton; her mother-in-law, Inez Clinton; and her sister-in-law, Cathy Clinton.
