She was born on May 31, 1938, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, to Francisco Cruz Carrion and Tomasa Class Martinez.Sara was a woman known for her compassionate and loving heart. She lived a life marked by humility, kindness, and deep faith. Her love for the Lord shaped the way she cared for her family and the way she lived every day. She had a thoughtful spirit and a warm presence that made people feel welcomed and loved.She was widowed by her beloved husband, Jose Gabriel Almeyda Alma, with whom she shared a life devoted to family. Sara found joy in simple but meaningful things, especially spending time with those she loved and working on her scrapbooks, preserving memories that meant so much to her and to all of us.Sara is survived by her children Gabriel Almeyda, William Almeyda, Obed Almeyda, Samuel Almeyda, Francisco Javier Almeyda, and Ileana Almeyda. Along with 25 Grand-children and 38 Great Grand-children. Her family was the center of her life, and she loved each of them deeply.To us, she was more than a mother and grandmother - she was an example of faith, compassion, and quiet strength. Her life leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to guide our family for generations.Though our hearts ache, we take comfort knowing she is now resting in the presence of the Lord she faithfully served.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
