She dedicated many years of service to the Harlandale School District, where she worked for 25 years and was known for her kindness, dedication, and strong work ethic.Santos loved her Mexican music and loved to dance. She liked being outdoors and she was very proud of her lush green yard. She was a do it yourself woman around the house. Santos was sort of a celebrity in her south side neighborhood. Everywhere she went, someone knew her.She is survived by her son: Paul Bustamante and wife Nancy Bustamante; daughters Linda B. Mancha and husband Ernest Huizar; Gloria B. De La Cerda husband George Manley.She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Jessica Bustamante Vera and husband Diego, Jennifer Bustamante, Sarah Bustamante, Adam B. Lopez, Angel Apolinar, husband George; Michael Bustamante; Aaron De L Cerda, Carissa Burchardt, husband John Charles.Santos was further blessed with great-grandchildren Carlos Santos Vera and Alexander Bustamante Vera, who brought her great joy. Great grandchildren: Michael Lopez, Isabella B. Powell, Mason Apolinar, Zoe Bustamante and Ava Bustamante.Santos will be remembered for her love of family, her dedication to her work, and the many lives she touched.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
