Santos Bustillos Rivera

Santos Bustillos Rivera was born in Smiley, Texas, and passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 98. The oldest of eleven siblings, he lived a long and meaningful life centered on his deep devotion to family. He shared countless life stories, laughter, and gentle guidance with those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he knew.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 74 years, Gloria Rivera; his parents, Anita and Pablo Rivera; and his siblings Eva, Maria, Antonio, Ernesto, Minnie, Luis, Joe, and Johnny.

Santos is survived by his daughters Diana, Yolanda, and Linda; his grandchildren Lucrecia, Christopher, Teresa, John, and Sarah; many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; and his brothers Pablo and Raymond Rivera. His greatest pride was his family, both in Texas and California. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for a life well lived and a legacy of love that continues through the generations.
